Collective noun required

UK flagThis morning on the way to work I saw yet another group of snow plows working as a team to clear a highway in one swift session.  I’ve mentioned it before - it is quite an impressive sight.  Anyway, I suddenly started to wonder what the collective noun for snow plows is?

Initial investigations, in line with my expectations, suggest that such a collective noun does not exist.  That’s not acceptable.  There are collective nouns for all sorts of useless things, so snow plows deserve one of their own.  I’m sure that someone out there can think of the perfect word, but I’ll throw out a couple of my thoughts for starters.

Given the formation they use, how about an echelon of snow plows?

Given the nature of the beast, how about a scrape of snow plows?

Surely you can do better than those?!   :-)

Just for the record, other suggestions received were Sweep, Scythe, Hulk, Clearing, Blade, Grind and Bunch (?)
